As a relationship manager you will be surrounded by the industry’s leading financial wholesalers. It will be your role to support our growing life insurance division. What does that mean? Simply put, we recruit hundreds of financial advisors from around the country every year primarily through our annuity distribution channels. We are actively engaging these individuals to share with them our life insurance offerings. This position will require a reasonable understanding of life insurance products, sales & underwriting processes, and corresponding service expectations. That's a complicated way of saying we'd expect you to provide sales support and make recommendations to our advisors as to what product may be the best fit for their clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide sales support and product information through individual face to face meetings, webinars and large group sessions when needed Orders and reviews underwriting requirements including (APS) Attending Physician Statement Receive and review new insurance applications for missing requirements Reviews inspection reports, motor vehicle reports and supplemental forms Conducts regular follow-up by all means necessary Organizes and prioritizes workload to ensure case is processed, issued and placed in a timely manner Maintains internal processing database to document work activity and communication on all assigned cases Pro- active follows-up with insurance agents on policy delivery requirements, including application amendments, health statements, insurance premium etc., to ensure policy is placed within specified time-frame Develop a strong command of preferred partner products and sales processes Provide case development and design support What type of person are you looking for?
