Director of Technology Req #: 203884 Location: Chantilly, VA US Job Category: Information Technology Security Clearance: Top Secret Clearance Status: Must be Obtainable Job Description What You'll Get to Do: As the Director of Technology, you will be part of a dynamic business team focused on growth and expansion of our current customer base and technology services portfolio. You will be the principal advisor to the Business Group Manager for Enterprise IT to help shape our technical workforce, build our technical capabilities, and drive technical insertion, to improve program performance, grow our business, deliver improved returns on sales, and establish our team as the premier solution leader for our customers. The Director of Technology must have a broad understanding of evolving technical trends, recommend activities to position us to take advantage of those trends, and be creative in applying trends to meet our customers' mission requirements. Additionally, the Director of Technology will identify technical SMEs in developing, shaping and delivering technical solutions. Solutions must be focused to improve program performance, support capture and proposals, provide thought leadership to our customers and lead to our retaining current work and winning new work. You will be responsible for the near and long-range direction of our technology growth through identifying gaps and development of innovative solutions. More About the Role: This position will work closely with Executive Operations and Business Development leadership to develop growth through strategic business development, technical solutioning, and expansion into new market areas. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring innovative technical solutioning and/or industry knowledge. In addition, the ideal candidate will have direct experience with all phases of RFP and RFI responses including proposal development, review, and submission and a demonstrated ability to explain and describe complex technical solutions within the framework of an RFP/RFI response. Primary Responsibilities: * Display solid business acumen and help develop and support the business case for technology investments and applications across the Enterprise IT market * Support all phases of proposal development and review, particularly regarding developing technical solutions * Advise managers how to leverage technology to improve program performance and growth * Identify skill gaps and partner with internal/external vendors to provide near and long term technical training to workforce * Advise customers how to leverage technology and best practices to meet their current and evolving requirements.
