Director of Sales East, End User Computing The Sales Director for Healthcare East for End User Computing will lead an award winning team of sales specialists End User Computing Sales. The position will be responsible for building the sales plan for achieving a bookings quota target, managing the sales forecasting process, and coaching the team of business development and sales professionals to achieve (or, ideally, over-achieve) the target quota. This position will lead a sales specialist team, so he or she will need to coordinate and work closely with VMware's Core Healthcare Vice President in a matrix Field and Partner organizations to achieve success and manage interactions with our existing customers. Our EUC solution set is viewed as a world class 'platform' within an account including technologies focused on improving end users' productivity and mobility, mitigating excessive costs, and to securely enable a user to be able to work on any device from anywhere within the context of a "digital workspace" Key Job Requirements: * Must have a minimum of 5-7 years Healthcare Sales Leadership Experience with a proven track record of consistent over achievement * Ability to travel at least 50% to customers and partners * Existing Healthcare executive level relationships with payers and providers having sold complex seven figures deals with successful outcomes * Deep understanding of Healthcare security, governance, and compliance requirements for provide on premise and hosted solutions for the patients with industry leading EMR solutions. * Demonstrated success working integrators on complex Healthcare deal pursuits Key Job Responsibilities: * Accountable for achieving VMware's bookings targets for End User Computing (Airwatch, Workspace ONE, and Horizon) portfolio of products and professional services within a list of East Coast Specialized Account Executives * Acts as a business partner with corporate functions including: Finance, Deal Desk, Legal Sales Operations, Global Support Services, Renewals and Human Resources. ?Run a forecasting process to provide visibility to VMware's leadership of sales pipeline status and potential to achieve target bookings, as well as upside and downside risks to achieving target bookings. * Identify high propensity customers. * Drive increased monthly recurring revenue (MRR). * Collaborate and build strong relationships with core Field and Partner sales leaders to ensure proper engagement with core teams and customers. * Be Operationally Excellent in the day-to-day running of the business including (but not limited to) forecasting, pipeline development, training, certifications, hiring, performance management, collaboration, teamwork, and best practice sharing. * Engage with Product Group leaders and other key business stakeholders to align on business goals and provide feedback on what will be required for successful execution against our bookings targets. * Highly trusted individual who maintains and expects high standards for self and team. ?Able to work across multi-functions/multi-individuals to achieve desired results. * Work closely with the Sales Leaders to ensure that Partner and Inside Sales teams are providing sufficient support and on-track to contribute to achieving bookings and pipeline goals. * Accountable for revenue and bookings as well as the overall margin of deals * Ability to evolve and develop the overall sales strategy and model for cloud services.
