Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Develop and execute a targeted prospect marketing plan focused on winning new client relationships. Responsible for meeting assigned loan deposit and fee-based revenue goals. 2. Retain and expand existing client relationships. Deliver integrated solutions to clients across functional areas, ensuring that relationships are fully developed. Provide superior client service by providing timely and accurate responses and problem resolution. 3. Execute on Integrated Relationship Management and Consultative Relationship Management, specifically with Financial Center Leaders and Business Services Officers to develop custom client solutions. 4. Assume responsibility for the profitability and growth of assigned loan and deposit portfolio. 5. Represent BB&T in the community by actively participating in various civic, community and association organizations to identify and develop new clients and enhance BB&T's image. Required Skills and Competencies: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field, or equivalent education and related training 2. Four years of banking, community or Community Association Property Management experience 3. Three years of product sales and marketing, relationship and account management 4. Excellent written and verbal communications skills 5. Excellent interpersonal skills ; ability to handle large client relationships 6. Product knowledge (e.g. deposit products, investment services, treasury services commercial banking) 7. Superior business development, client relations and decision-making skills 8. Excellent time management and organization skills; self motivated and directed 9. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 10. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight Desired Skills: 1. Experience in commercial banking or as treasury sales professional 2. Total loan and deposit relationship of $75MM or more in mature market 3.
