Salesforce Public Sector is seeking a data-driven Social and Digital Demand Generation Marketing Manager with connections and a deep understanding of public sector, and the experience to accelerate growth for our lead generation activities. Collaborating with our sales teams, this person will be building a best-in-class digital marketing program to help raise awareness and scale in Public sector. You will develop the end-to-end acquisition strategy to drive quality leads for our sales organization through thoughtful, optimized programs across all digital media channels. With the ability to strongly impact growth, the Social and Digital Demand Generation Manager will demonstrate a bias for results and must have the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will help our team design and create digital content that aligns with strategies. Or you will bring the ability to manage in-house and 3rd-party design firms in content creation and delivery. You?ll fit right in if you are a passionate, execution oriented marketer. Here?s what you?d be doing: + Develop the digital strategy for lead generation to achieve revenue and pipeline goals + Build and execute a best-in-class demand generation program that leverages a multi-channel approach to achieve business growth and revenue goals (SEO, Paid, Social, Email Marketing) + Maintain a data-driven approach through continual experimentation and optimization to meet and exceeds aggressive company goals (a/b testing, etc.) + Identify compelling content aligned with our segmented target audiences at each stage of the buying process across state and local, federal, aerospace and defense lines of business in the US and Canada + Develop high-quality digital content + Create a foundation for reporting, tracking, and measuring against KPIs + Collaborate closely with sales to constantly improve and optimize for success + Regularly communicate campaign programs and performance to key stakeholders + Quarterback across the entire marketing team (creative, writers, online, events, PR, campaign analytics, etc.) to ensure high quality content creation and timely campaign execution + Develop high-ROI content for use in social channels and manage social communities + Communicate effectively and often to ensure all stakeholders are aligned. Experience/Skills Required or Desired: + Exceptional communication, writing, storytelling and copywriting skills + Proven results with content marketing programs spanning multiple digital marketing channelsBachelor degree from a 4 year college/university. MBA is a plus (but we love smart people who have experience and really love to innovate and get things done) + 5+ years marketing experience in a role managing multi-channel marketing campaigns ( ie. email, direct mail, print, online and /or social media + Experience working in the public sector, managing and developing new marketing programs, driving demand and pipeline for the programs and partnering with sales to deliver enterprise results + Past experience in using Salesforce and/or other marketing tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ExactTarget, RavenTools, Radian6, Marketo, Eloqua, Responsys, Google Analytics, and Omniture are a big plus + High energy and the ability to manage multiple initiatives, working well under pressure and in a high growth environment that is constantly changing + Track record for delivering under tight deadlines + Strong understanding of demand generation and a track record of owning campaigns from concept to impact, plus driving, measuring and reporting successes or failures + Ability to use Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to design content.
