The Sr Pre-Sales Systems Engineer is responsible for removing technical barriers in the sales process through opportunity qualification, product demonstrations, and technical presentations. The Infoblox Sr Pre-Sales Systems Engineer is responsible for working closely with our world-class sales team to overcome and remove all technical barriers in the sales process. This individual assists the sales team in the development of new business working directly with customers and partners. In this role, you are the trusted technical advisor who can effectively position the Infoblox solutions. The Federal Pre-Sales Systems Engineer reports to the Manager, System Engineering for Federal.
Responsibilities: As a technical expert, build business cases and technical differentiation in sales opportunities by educating customers and partners about Infoblox solutions
Develop pre-sales engineering content (presentations, demos, webinars) on Infoblox solutions for customer and partner audiences
Design solution and an architectural diagram that conveys a proposed Infoblox solution, how it will be engineered, and how it integrates with other vendors.
Educate partner technical sales teams about Infoblox solutions and technologies and when/how to identify opportunities and position Infoblox solutions to customers Requirements: 3+ years of experience supporting technical sales of enterprise network solutions
TS/SCI clearance required
3+ years of experience in networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, IPv4/v6, UNIX Admin, and experience with switches, routers, and firewalls in Intranet/Internet/Extranet environments
Strong experience with Network Security including Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Web filtering, AntiVirus, and Threat Emulation, SIEM and NGFW
Strong UNIX O/S knowledge and Active Directory experience would be a plus
Strong knowledge of general security best practices and direct experience with at least one security product
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology simply
Conscientious attitude and dependability, strengths in teamwork and communication
Ability to work in the field frequently
Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems

DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM) experience
Experience in Cloud/Security space
Network Security, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Web filtering, AntiVirus, and Threat Emulation, SIEM and NGFW knowledge
